Adventure
Welcome to the adventure of a lifetime at Camp Goodtimes Adventure Camp.Spend time away from it all, paddling a kayak while the eagles soar overhead, porpoise play off the bow of your boat, and seals watch curiously as you go by. Be sure to keep on the lookout for a passing orca whale! The adventure of a lifetime awaits you at Camp Goodtimes Adventure Camp.
You'll paddle through the beautiful San Juan Island chain, and pitch your tent at camp sites in northern Washington. This adventure will allow you to experience the natural environment of the islands on land and water.
Previous kayaking experience is not required to attend. Safe double- or triple-person kayaks will be paddled under the watchful eye of experienced guides who will teach you how to enter and exit the kayak, paddle, and pack for five adventure-filled days. They will also instruct you on the use of safety equipment such as your Personal Flotation Device.
Here is an opportunity to experience Puget Sound from the decks of the historic sailing vessel Adventuress. We will spend three days and two nights sailing from Bellingham to Tacoma. You will experience sailing the vessel as a crew member under the watchful eye of the Adventuress' experienced Captain and trained crew.
Staff will include medical staff from Children's Hospital and experienced camp counselors from other Camp Goodtimes programs.
