What are you going to do with your “free time” this summer?

Whatever it is, consider an alternative – providing some very special children with a week that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

As a member of the Camp Goodtimes West staff you will:
  • Share in a diverse community that values the differences in people
  • Provide a framework of safety that enables children living with cancer, and their siblings, to experience a week of pure joy
  • Befriend peers who share a similiar commitment and passion for others
  • Make a tangible and positive difference in the fight against cancer

Dates of Camp for Staff:
  • All staff are required to be at Camp Burton on Vashon Island the Friday before kids arrive
  • Plan on arriving between 2-4pm on Friday
  • June dates for staff are Friday June 22nd - Saturday June 30th
  • July dates for staff are Friday July 20th - Saturday July 28th

How to apply:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous campers must take at least one year away from camp before applying as a staff
  • Review the Camp Roles to figure out how you would like to help.

  • Applications are due by March 15th, 2012.
  • Volunteers interested in camp will be required to undergo a background check and complete an interview process with Camp Leadership.
